The Scout Expo 2009 will be a chance to shine and demonstrate our Scouting Skills to the rest of the Scout Units and the Community. As you have seen over the last four years at the Expo, this is an event to show your stuff and experience the Scouting that other Troops have to offer.
Overall there will be hundreds of Scouting activities and exhibits for all to enjoy. This is an event that can be enjoyed with activities for Scouts of all ages from Tigers to Ventures. Make your plans now to come to spend the day. Admission is
$4 per person and this includes a
2009 Scout Expo patch.
We are planning on some big exhibits and program features. What kind of Exhibit or demonstration will your Unit like to have at the Scout Expo
2009? The success of the Scout Expo depends on Unit involvement to help provide their best activities for all to share. Need ideas? Check out our Program Ideas.
Booth
cost this year for Scouters is zero. That’s right, this year it is FREE. If you need tables for your booth, the cost is $5 per table. Electricity is available at no additional cost, but you may need to bring your own electrical cords.
We will follow and enforce all applicable rules from the current edition of the
Guide to Safe Scouting that is found on the National
Council Web Site. We ask that
all Units review the Guide to Safe Scouting as it pertains to their exhibit and
make sure that your exhibit follows these Guidelines.
Units can begin setup of exhibits on the evening of Friday, November 20, 2009.
Any questions, please contact Robert Smith at 678-945-1281.
Reserve your space soon for the Scout Expo to assure prime location and your choice of activity. We expect a big increase over last year’s exhibitors, so signing up early will assure your space.
